I missed writing here and I guess I need to write this time. I would like to share what my hubby shared last time when he spoke in our church service. It's all about tough times never lasts....

God allows tough situation in our lives in order to refine us and bring closer to Him. We should approach these times with the right attitude and seek wisdom from God.

Tough Times

They are normal
everyone pass through it
except those who are not living.

They are temporal
there’s always a solution
if we can’t find any of the solution under the sun
perhaps we must look to the Son.

They are educational.
true character of a person is not seen in a momentary heroic
but in the tough humdrum of day-to-day living.

Words to Ponder

1. Tough situations will make you or break you.
- reveals the nature of the heart.
- how do I respond?

2. Tough situations will make you drift aimlessly or anchor deeply.
- unless you anchor deep, you could go down
- attach your soul to the Rock and no wave is big enough to wash you under.

3. Tough situations makes you surrender or to persevere.
- great oaks does not grow overnight.
- 1 Cor. 9: 26 straight to the goal..

- never give up!
- never back down!
- never lose faith!

The truth is – God is not through with you yet…
We must be pro-active not reactive
Our beliefs needed to be not only intellectual,
but also very practical.
Stay focused – watch and pray!

Remember this:
“God would give up His only Son
before He’d give up on you..!”

Valentine's Day has gone. A day before yesterday, we celebrated the HEART'S Day. A day to celebrate and share love to our loved ones. Although, everyday is a celebration for lovers and couples but then, Valentine's Day is something to cherish a day to celebrate.

Here in Thailand, people were busy not to celebrate Valentine's day but to keep busy for the Chinese New Year. Chinese people could be seen anywhere in the stores, buying a lot of things especially changing many things in their homes. We saw a lot of them buying things for the house like electric lights and other things needed for a change. For them it's the same as New Year, for those who have a lot of money, they wanted to change everything inside the house for the New Year. But for those who don't have enough to spend, they can live without it, without changing anything inside the house. Chinese people are quite rich and have enough to spend, so that is their way of changing things every year.

Valentine's Day, however, is a day for most lovers to celebrate this special occasion. They were busy buying chocolates and flowers for their one and only. They were so excited to spend whole day with their lover. Anyhow, for all my blogger friends I would like to say... Belated

I like the color but I told my hubby not to come nearer
because it's dangerous, it's a truck loaded of gasoline.

Since I'm preggy, I surf about pregnancy and the baby. And this blog speaks about it. Mom's Conversations has it. She gave instructions on what to get rid of stretch marks after having a baby and some health tips as well. She just simply tell you what to do and the tips. She has a lot of things to say about pregnancy and the baby.

Her blog is very informative and she writes clearly and she called her new blog Bueno. She also writes about health tips and how to treat hemorrhoids, a very known disease, she encourages to do the easiest way of treating a hemorrhoid discomfort. A well- balanced diet according to her is necessary to avoid this kind of disease and other diseases as well, living a healthier life is always the best for her and she highly recommends. And more so, eating more fruits and vegetables could help, she added.

One of the earrings that I've made just recently are these three pairs. I used rice pearls. I am enjoying while I make this last time because I love the style. As what I have said in my other posts, I love making designs for ladies to wear. And I love it.

Our Wedding Anniversary

Today is our 16th Wedding Anniversary. Hubby and I are so thankful to the Lord for all those years, "sweeter as the years go by" as what the song goes. We really thank the Lord for our amazing sons (2). We thank the Lord for strength, hardship and happiness, problems and all the turmoils that life had brought us through. It's not so easy, there were struggles ( we encountered a lot ) but the good thing is, the love we shared are always lifting us up and keeps burning. In the midst of trials, God is there in the midst, so everything was just passing away, and our love become stronger. We also learned to be dependent on the Lord at all times. God is indeed worthy to be praised. Without Him, we were lost. Thank you Lord for all those times...

Thank you Lord for all these things that we shared :

the struggles
the turmoils
the hardships
the failures
the victories
the happiness
the ups and down of life
the joys we shared
the cries and the laughter
the tears we offered
the prayers we uttered

All of these make us stronger and we've learned to live our lives according to His plan for His glory. Our God has been faithful and true. Flowers are everywhere. Everyday we could see flowers in the countryside, inside the hotel, in the church, and anywhere. I like flowers, it gives color and beauty to life. I took a lot of different pictures of flowers and I enjoy sharing it to my friends just like you.

When God created the universe, flowers are formed and created too. It gives beauty to the world we live in. God cares for them too as He cares for us His creation.

These are my designs few months ago. One I gave to a friend and others I send to another friend for sale. I did this with a strong wire and silver lock. I love making designs and I enjoy seeing designs through surfing in another site. But I still make my own.

These are my latest crystal designs. I love making it especially creating a new one. It took a long time for me to finish one bracelet before but now it's easy and few hours for one bracelet. I'm excited to sell already hahaha! I love to see new designs and excited to make a new one. It's something that inspires me. I usually use swarovski pearls or rice pearls, swarovski crystals, and special beads to make it more attractive and lasting. I will show another designs next time.

My kids now are growing up and we as parents were growing older too, lol! We have noticed that they have different movie shows. I have two boys and the eldest is now a teenager and he has his own likes. My 6-year old has also another show that is scheduled everyday. Each of them has favorite movie shows in the tv, different from the other. Many times they fight in front of the tv. Wow, this is nice and we will all enjoy watching our favorite movies.

I enjoyed making this Korean food last week. They call it sushi. It's delicious with a different taste as well. My teenager had asked me to make this a lot of times. I put many vegies, chicken hotdog and sweet radish and other seafood. I wrapped it with this seaweed from Korea, not that expensive, I guess. The price is the same with the Thai seaweed. When we went back to the Phil last August, we had good time together with my sisters, nephews and nieces. We spent time just for fun or other things that would make us laugh and enjoy. We took photos and went anywhere we want. We ate, visited friends and relatives, mall visiting and a lot more. That was our time together, enjoying each time together and spending quality time together with the family. Although our niece passed away but we kept busy working together.

We also visited our relatives - especially those that we had not seen many years ago. We rode on a boat while sharing our experiences when we were still young, whether good or bad, in tears or in laughter and we laughed together. We just laughed at our unhealthy behavior and told our nieces to be loving and caring to each other. We also told them to keep on doing good and serve the Lord more.

Few weeks ago, my hubby took this frame from the shop and I was amazed because I didn't know that he already paid for it. I asked him but he said never mind. But because I was persistent in asking the price he can't keep it from me, he was hooked, lol! Then he told me that it's cheap - cheaper than the Phil. price. It's true, it's quite big but cheap and beautiful.

New Designs

These are the bracelets that I did just recently. It took 2 hours for me to finish each bracelet design. I love making designs especially if I have time to spare. As a mother, housewife, and a teacher I find it interesting to make designs like these. It makes my life more meaningful with an accomplishment like this.

My hubby enjoys seeing me too, that in the midst of my hectic schedules - I could still make some of it.

Blue Crystals

This design is quite cheap. I sold it for only $25 for one set already. I was able to sell more of this design before. I thank the Lord for giving me this kind of gift to make designs out of swarovski crystals. It's not easy at first, but when I learned to do it, I find it easy. Now, I can sell anywhere with the help of some friends who care.

Blue is my hubby's favorite color but I love green. But then I learned to love blue as well. Many friends love this color.

This is another design that I made last year. I had the chance to sell it through my sister. It's quite simple but elegant crystals. I love this color too. It's good that my sister took some pictures of my old crystal designs - last year. We were in the Phil. last year when I did these designs. I ask my sister to sell some because she was going out of the country and met different types of people. So I guess, she can sell it to her friends or to some people she met. And it's true she sold some but not all because she went back to the Phil. after knowing that our niece was not feeling well.

A Set of Swarovski Crystals

Early this year, my sister took a picture of my handmade bracelet, earrings and necklace. I had asked her to do it because she was using a good camera. Many friends liked this set of swarovski crystals but can't afford to pay because I was selling it for $127. It's a quality one and the crystals are quite expensive so they said maybe next time if they extra money to buy.

Anyway, I love the colors and the design. Maybe in the future someone could afford to buy for it.
It's blue and white with 10k gold. Anyone likes it?

We went to this place last Monday with a couple of friends. We visited some places before they went back to their place. Anyway, this is the most visited place in Hatyai, Thailand. Visitors are coming here and Thais as well. We were able to capture some pictures and visited other places too.

A Memory that Lingers

Today is a memory that lingers to all of us. Not only for the bereaved people who had a traumatic experience during the 911 event but for all of us, who had been affected by this big unforgettable event.

It's almost 9 years that it happened. But the memory is still fresh in our minds and had a part in our hearts. What would be our role as mankind? What would be our part as individuals? Maybe, questions would come to our mind, but God has the answer. Everything has a purpose and everything under heaven has a plan, we may not know exactly, but the Master Planner knows, He knows what ahead of us, because He knows the future! He is Omnicient and Omnipotent!

This is the kind of memory thatwe never forget and keeps reminding us that we can't hold our future nor the things that will happen....

A tragedy that could never be forgotten....

Early this Year Design

Early this year I discovered making this design. I did it in many colors with 4 lines. It looks like a flower. A technicolor, all in blue and another that looks like a flower in different colors. I made different designs before but I failed to take some pictures of it, so I end up making designs again and again.

However, it's worth it because I learned a lot of designs, different from the other. I love making different designs alone in my own capacity to do it. I also love giving it to my friends and loved ones. It's a kind of fulfilling and I'm blessed.

My Crystal Design - last year

I was glad when I went back to the Phil. last week for many reasons. One, for our bereaved family. Two, for our reunion as a family, and three, for this design that my sister kept for sale. Nobody could afford to buy this one because it's a set and quite expensive because the materials are not common, you could seldom found this kind any crystal stores.

I made it a set of crystals; a pair of earrings, bracelet and necklace. It was bound by another 10- key gold with a strong lock. I guess, it's good only for celebrities or people who like fashion. I mixed it with light blue and white ( a different one) which looks gorgeous.

Some friends of mine told me that they loved it but they can't afford. So I decided to send it to my friend who will be going abroad to let them see the design. Hope someone can afford to buy it sooner.

Life is Like a Vapor

I' m still sick of thinking that our niece (the daughter of my younger sister) is already with the Lord. We were shocked last Saturday when we heard the news from the Phil. She's been sick before but she was healed amazingly by the Lord. Last Saturday I wrote it in my other blog about what had happened.

We felt sad and grieved the first time we heard but we are assured that she is now in heaven with the Lord. I had sleepless nights thinking of the happenings. Life is like a vapor, it will just pass away, we didn't know our future but we know who holds the future...

We need to go back to the Phil and be with our family during this time. Because of this happening, we were reminded to be on guard and take time to do His will and follow His commands. That life is nothing without the Lord.

My Favorites

Since I started making designs I had my own favorites. I mean, there were designs that I like most. It's quite easy and cheaper than swarovski crystals. These are rice pearls. I have friends who were working abroad and they bought some of my designs to sell for their friends and others who wanted to buy. At least it's cheaper and attractive, lol! for my eyes only...

Although other friends like swarovski crystals but these are some of my favorites. I'm still praying for a market either around our place or beyond the corners. It's my prayer that the Lord will just send someone to help me just at the right time. It's not so easy these days to have a good market, people will buy what they need first then later if there is extra they can buy what they want. I do hope that the Lord will just bless this little business of mine. I also wanted to bless others through this gift...

Blue Crystal Pearls

Last week I started making this blue with white pearls bracelet. Supposedly, I can finish it for few hours but because I was sick, I stopped making it and started to finish it this week. When I was still young, I was madly in love with the green color - when I get married I was attached to blue because my hubby loves blue.

While I was making this bracelet, I was thinking of having one for my myself because it looks so cool and cute as well, though it's simple but it looks nice when I started to wear it. As what I was mentioning, this is one of my outlets every time I felt bored of doing something, I immediately think of making a bracelet or a necklace if I have extra amount to buy for the materials. I need to save some amount for the materials alone - so I can't do it always.

I'm always excited when my friends will ask for the price and the more excited if they will order, lol! At least I can earn something even for small amount. I'm still on my way to make the prices online. I'm just trying some techniques in order to post the list of prices. Of course it's not so cheap but not also expensive. I was using quality materials like swarovski crystals, rice pearls and crystal pearls. I really enjoy making it.

To be Sick is Dangerous

I was sick just recently, I was afraid of swine flu so I decided to visit the doctor for check up. To be freed from sickness is what we wanted to, we felt bad if we're sick.

Yesterday, as I was checking my friend's blog at Genuine Cuisine I discovered that swine flu is already around us. And I was quite anxious, but I kept praying for protection upon all of us, God is really our shield.

I never thought that swine flu is already between our reach. Swine flu is very dangerous these days. It's already a pandemic. Few weeks ago a friend of mine told me that there was a one-year old baby from Korea who was brought by his parents to America just to celebrate his first birthday. And went back to Korea after few weeks. Few days later, the baby became weak and was terribly sick. It was found out later that the baby had swine flu and had no chance to live longer. That's why swine flu is very dangerous now adays.

We need to be careful wherever we go, and pray for protection.

Healthful Fruit

I missed this tree in the Phil. I love to eat this kind of fruit. For me, it's very delicious and yummy. It can also use to make buko salad, to mix with maja blanca or other delicasies that is so yummy.

When I was in high school, I used to go up to this tree, of course not the tallest one, but the one that is not so tall. It has a nutrition facts. I come across a Filipino site who wrote about coconut water. She shared about an American Nutritionist who wrote a book entitled " Coconut Water for Health and Healing".

There was a discovery that coconut water contains antioxidants as well as magnesium, potassium and other minerals and enzymes which may relax the lens proteins of the eyes, allowing them to realign and become transparent again. Fresh coconut water is needed.
“Coconut water may be an ideal eyewash or eye drop solution. If it can heal the damage caused by cataract, it may have other beneficial effects on eye health as well. Using it regularly may be an excellent way to prevent cataract, glaucoma, and perhaps other eye problems.”

I guess, this discovery is true, coconut has many proofs and is good for eating, cooking and healing. It has a lot of wonders when taken into the body. From the root to the last leaf, this tree can be very useful.

A Special Gift

Giving is a blessing. We had been blessed because we chose to give. Everytime I have friends leaving, usually I will make a ring, or a bracelet for a remembrance. I had been giving to some of our friends. And another friend is leaving so I decided to make another bracelet with a pair of earrings.

I like it although it's simple, but it looks great. It has a gold lock with a small pearl in the earrings. It's a gold bracelets because I use gold crystals.
